I wanted to have a stable mount in my Jeep for my HT. So I found a seller on ebay that makes mounts for UV5R sized HTs. Add to that a RAM Mount 1 inch ball and goose neck laptop mount and it makes for a fairly easy project. Except for those pesky Jeep seat bolts (Mortorq) that require a special tool to loosen up.
